To further develop our cloud integration team, Timothy De Mey (30) recently joined the Nubera ranks. As a former cloud engineer for HostBasket he has the perfect skills and knowledge to implement flexible and powerful cloud solutions for our customers. “Nubera’s cloud-first principle and vision on IT automation are really appealing. Plus, I get to work in a talented, diverse team of young people. I am really looking forward to it.”
The team at Nubera is growing nicely. It seems like only yesterday that we welcomed our new sales director Bert Arnauts; today yet another new employee has found his way to the Nubera offices. Joining our ever-expanding team of cloud integration consultants, Timothy De Mey will mostly be working on location with our clients.
“IT solutions come first, products second”
“It’ my job to implement cloud solutions that improve the overall IT infrastructure of our clients. So yes, this means I won’t be seeing much of my Nubera office but I don’t really mind. It’s really exciting to work with clients directly.”
On why he chose to work for Nubera, in the first place, Timothy is very clear. “Their vision is quite unique in Belgium and the Netherlands. Most IT companies are trying to sell products. Nubera, on the other hand, want to sell solutions that improve the business of a client. In other words, the product comes second, which makes us free to select platform agnostic solutions. Also, the cloud-first approach makes for the most flexible IT infrastructures preventing vendor lock.”
“Young people are eager to innovate”
Despite his young age, Timothy isn’t the youngest around the Nubera headquarters. “I’m only 30 but there are colleagues who are even younger, which, I believe, is a great thing. A young team is always eager to learn and innovate - we aren’t set in our ways. It’s that spirit of innovation that makes Nubera one of the best IT service companies in the market today. So evidently, I am very happy to be a part of that.”
